As much as I love high street shopping, it’s always important to support up and coming independent designers. I found Kharis London in Spitalfields market and her collection instantly stood out to me. With bold cuts and minimal studio pieces, Kharis’ strong personality is definitely communicated well through her clothing.

This mesh dress is a stunning piece and very on trend right now. It takes a lot of courage to put on something mesh. As photographer Geoffrey Janes could tell you, it took a lot of persuasion to get me into this outfit, but I’m so glad I did. This is just one option of how to wear the dress, on a warmer day I would probably slip on a black crop top and black bodycon skirt/shorts underneath.

Hair and make-up wise, I think a striking outfit like this suits a similarly bold style. Makeup should be either very heavy eyes or heavy lips. One or the other, never both!

If you’ve been following my blog for a while you’ll also know that I’m also a lover of hair extensions. Next time I wear this outfit I’ll definitely be wearing long hair extensions with blunt ends. At the moment I love the extensions by Kapello Hair, there is such a wide range of options to choose from as well as great advice on hand if you’re new to hair extensions. Click here to see more.

Sometimes it’s good to get out of your comfort zone. You never know, you might just like it!
