I first posted these Zara palazzo pants on my blog a couple of years ago and I can safely say it’s probably the most popular post I’ve ever had. Since then I’ve seen the photo shared all over the internet; from Facebook to Instagram, and even on eBay! So I thought I’d do a more up-to-date version of how to wear palazzo pants. Unfortunately I’m lacking the beautiful backdrop of Cyprus’ Bellapais Abbey as I did in my last set of photos, but I do have my cat!

Loose fitted trousers like these are perfect for a more conservative day time look or evening wear during the Summer as they are lightweight and have a very bohemian look to them. When wearing palazzo pants it’s safest to choose a crop top in order to maintain a balance with your outfit. Wearing too many baggy items of clothing isn’t flattering on any figure. Here I’ve chosen a simple cropped cami top, however you can also wear a little bandeau or bralet too.

Jewellery is everything when you’re going for a bohemian look, so don’t be afraid to adorn your arms with bangles, cover your fingers in rings or choose a very decorative necklace.

The wide leg and high waist of these trousers make them perfect for elongating legs. Choose a comfy pair of wedges or platforms and create the illusion that you have legs for days!

Although I bought these trousers a few years ago, they are a big trend this Summer so there are lots of different types of palazzo pants both online and on the high street. No Summer wardrobe is complete without a loose pair of trousers!

On a little side note, Wednesday was my 21st birthday and I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of my friends and followers who wished me a happy birthday! I’ve had such a wonderful birthday and I’m so grateful to be surrounded by such amazing people.

Lots of love
